Land Dispute: Fred Ajudua Released on Bail, Denies Fraud Allegations
Fred Ajudua, a well-known city socialite, has been released on bail after being arrested by the police last Wednesday. His lawyer, Lekan Ojo, confirmed his release, stating that Ajudua was released to him and Senator Ned Nwoko on Saturday evening.
Ojo expressed frustration over Ajudua’s detention without being arraigned in court or released, noting that it is unconstitutional to detain a person for more than 48 hours without arraignment or bail.
Contrary to reports of Ajudua’s arrest over land fraud and forgery, Ojo clarified that the arrest was related to a land dispute that had been exaggerated by the petitioner.

He emphasized that no documents were forged and that the situation was purely a land dispute.
Ajudua’s release comes after four days of detention, with Ojo and Senator Ned Nwoko working to ensure his rights were protected.
